(Itasca, IL) September 29, 2026—The roofing industry came together this week as Ronald McDonald House® Oklahoma City celebrated the expansion of its 28-bedroom Ronald McDonald House, made possible in part through an extraordinary $400,000 collective contribution from Roofing Alliance members.
The donated roofing materials, products and labor helped bring the expanded House to completion over the summer without downsizing the project or delaying construction.
The partnership was recognized during a donor reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony in September, honoring those who contributed and celebrating the families who will benefit from the expanded facility.
Once fully operational, the House will serve families whose children are receiving treatment at three additional partner hospitals in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. According to Susan Adams, Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House® Oklahoma City, the expansion will provide an estimated 10,220 additional nights of stay each year and save families approximately $1,034,264 annually. The House is expected to serve families from more than 70 of Oklahoma’s 77 counties while their children receive critical medical care.
For the Roofing Alliance members involved, the project demonstrates what can happen when contractors, manufacturers, distributors and other roofing professionals come together for a shared philanthropic purpose.

Roofing Alliance members contributing to the project included:
• Supreme Roofing of Dallas, which provided all labor for the project and earned a place on the construction manager’s bid list for future projects. According to Adams, “The project team was impressed by Supreme’s professionalism, efficiency, and strong commitment to safety.”
• ATAS International, which donated all metal panels that give the House a new look.
• GAF, which accommodated a last-minute change and provided upgraded shingles to meet the requirements of the Owners Association where the House is located.
• Georgia-Pacific, which donated the roof cover board—a new hail-resistant product recently introduced from its Oklahoma plant.
• IB Roof Systems, which donated all PVC membrane for the roof. This marks the fifth Ronald McDonald House to receive a donated IB roof.
• Johns Manville, which donated all roof insulation, helping reduce the House’s future energy costs.
Together, these contributions provided the materials, labor and expertise necessary to complete the roofing portion of the expansion and highlight the breadth of capabilities represented throughout the Roofing Alliance membership.
Ronald McDonald House® Oklahoma City also recognized William Good, Senior Advisor to the Roofing Alliance-Ronald McDonald House® partnership, for his instrumental role in coordinating the project.
“RMH-OKC also extends special recognition to William Good, retired CEO of the National Roofing Contractors Association and Roofing Alliance Senior Advisor, who generously volunteered his time and expertise to coordinate these donations,” Adams said. “His leadership in bringing the contributors together was instrumental in making this gift possible and reflects the power of this collaborative effort.”
The long-standing partnership between the Roofing Alliance and Ronald McDonald House® demonstrates how the roofing industry can use its expertise, resources and relationships to create a lasting impact for families in need.
