Roofing Alliance members help shape
important initiatives that improve the roofing industry.
(Rosemont, IL) Mar. 7, 2024 — The Roofing Alliance welcomes its
newest member, General Coatings Manufacturing Corp., Fresno, California,
who has joined at the Regent level and is the foundation’s 196th member.
“General Coatings Manufacturing Corporation is excited to be a part of
the Roofing Alliance,” stated General Coatings Manufacturing Corporation
President Barry L. McConway. “We at GCMC share the same commitment and
goals as the Roofing Alliance—to improve industry education and training,
and drive technology and research to improve our industry.”
The Roofing Alliance has attracted some of the best and brightest roofing
professionals in the industry. Together, they select and provide
oversight of programs and funding for progressive research that shapes,
improves, and advances the roofing industry in four key areas: education
and training, technology, sustainability, and philanthropy.

the organization’s strength comes from its broad base of supportive
contributors,” said Executive Director Alison L. LaValley, CAE. “The
