In conjunction with Arizona State University, the Roofing Alliance funded the hiring of industry fellow Susan Castelli from Eastern Carolina’s Department of Construction Management. Her innovative research aligns with roofing and the building envelope.
A task force, including Roofing Alliance members, contractor members from Arizona’s roofing community and the Arizona Roofing Industry Foundation, has been established to recommend research opportunities. Castelli’s research will include an analysis of roof system maintenance cost dynamics and their impact on lifespans and replacement costs.
