2020-2021 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award Finalists Announced

Fourteen outstanding roofing professionals compete for Best of the Best Recognition.

(Rosemont, Ill.) February 18, 2021 —The Roofing Alliance, celebrating 25 years as the foundation of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), proudly announces the 2020-21 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards finalists. The winners will be announced during the NRCA’s Virtual Awards Ceremony on March 5, 2021 at 3:00 pm EST.

Celebrating its 25th year, the Roofing Alliance continues to honor leadership in the field. For the MVP Award, roofing contractors nominate field workers including roofing crew workers, foremen or superintendents. Distributors and supplier firms nominate warehouse employees, warehouse foremen, drivers or equipment operators. Individuals can be nominated for their outstanding on-the-job performance and workmanship, their philanthropic contributions outside the workplace or both. Since the program’s inception 21 years ago, 708 employees have been nominated and 269 winners and finalists have been recognized.

The 2020-21 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award Finalists include:

On Friday, March 5, during NRCA’s Virtual Awards Ceremony, after the MVP winners are announced, one winner will be announced as Professional Roofing's Best of the Best, a recognition co-sponsored by OMG Roofing Products and Professional Roofing magazine. Josh Kelly, past Roofing Alliance President and Vice President of Product Development & Innovation at OMG explains, “The Roofing Alliance’s MVP Task Force determines the Best of the Best Award winner after a thorough evaluation of MVP winners using criteria such as on-the-job safety, on-the-job performance, recruiting new workers, community service and other noteworthy contributions to determine the Best of the Best. We are proud of all the winners and especially the past and future Best of the Best Award winners.”
