Roofing Alliance Members Making a Difference

Congratulations to Rudy Gutierrez, president of Shell Roofing Solutions Group, Chino, Calif., who has been elected to the board of directors for the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce. The LALCC is one of the largest chambers of commerce in the U.S. His focus will be to bring opportunity to the members through the following business sectors: 2028 Olympics, International Relations, Health Care and California Universities. “It is an honor to be elected and serve. It’s a great day for the Gutierrez family,” Gutierrez shares.

Please share your stories—whether they are about joining local boards, working with your local Ronald McDonald House, participating in a Rebuilding Together project, supporting local charitable groups, sharing your roofing knowledge with community organizations, schools, museums, etc. However you are reaching out, supporting and making a difference in your communities, we want to know!

We know our members are heavily involved with charitable deeds and community outreach, and we know you are humble and don’t do it for recognition, but it is important to share your stories! It helps to show the overall professionalism and generosity of our industry, and it’s a way of sharing ideas and encouraging members who may be looking for suggestions regarding ways they can reach out in their communities.

We have created a new Roofing Alliance YouTube playlist, “Roofing Alliance Members Making a Difference.” We plan to post videos showing different ways our members are reaching out to and making a difference in their communities.

Email your stories and videos to Bennett or Jessica. Let’s overload the channel with all we are doing to make a difference!
