Roofing Alliance highlights two members

We are pleased to highlight two Roofing Alliance members.

EagleView recently became a sponsor of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, N.Y. Adopt-A-Family program. Their gift of $10,000 provides 10 families with an eight-day stay at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, N.Y. In October, the Rochester-based EagleView employees visited the House for a meet-and-greet with a family staying at the house and a tour of the facility. On Oct. 24, EagleView employees also volunteered for RMHCR’s Fall Sale event and helped wrap, bag and collect items for shoppers. The sale offers new and gently used donated items—from furniture and décor to clothing and sporting goods—at bargain prices. All proceeds from the sale went to RMHCR’s programs and services.

EagleView is extremely honored to partner with RMHCR to fundraise for local programs and services that support the health and well-being of children and families in the Rochester community.

In November, Roofing Alliance member Shell Roofing Solutions Group, Chino, Calif., was recognized by the Chino Valley City Council at Chino City Hall for donating a new roof to Augustin Rodriguez and his family.

Rodriguez is a former correctional officer who served in the U.S. military. He has a daughter with special needs, and in addition to being her caregiver, his retirement invoice goes to his daughter’s medical care.

After going to the Rodriguez home to investigate a roof leak, Shell Roofing Solutions Group found the roof needed to be replaced. The family was not able to cover the cost of a roof replacement, and the company decided to donate the roof. ABC Supply Co. donated materials, and Barcley Construction helped with repairs.

“We felt it was our duty as community members to help this family that needed a roof on their home,” says Rudy Gutierrez, president and CEO of Shell Roofing Solutions Group. “It was a great honor for our team to be in a position to donate a new roof. It was a great night for the Gutierrez family.”
