What Is the Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program?

The Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program was created to assist roofing professionals’ families by providing a family member of NRCA contractor and supplier members with the opportunity to pursue a post-secondary degree at either an accredited college institution, a vocational or technical trade school. Named after Melvin Kruger, a former Roofing Alliance president and influential figure in the roofing industry, the program aims to provide the next generation of roofing professionals with an opportunity to achieve their educational objectives in order to pursue a career in roofing. Since the program’s inception, 130 students have been awarded roofing industry scholarships through the Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program.
