2021-22 Construction Management Student Competition Invitations Sent to American Council of Construction Education Schools

The criteria and project information for the 2021-22 Construction Management Student Competition was sent to schools who are members of the American Council of Construction Education. This year’s competition project is the Four Points Sheraton, located on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Thank you to NRCA member Rob Anderson, Certified Roofing and Sheet Metal LLC, Tickfaw, La., and Firestone Building Products for providing us with the project for this year’s competition.

Once we know which schools will be participating, we will need to line up Roofing Alliance members to serve as team mentors. Please let us know if you are willing to serve as a team mentor; our members who serve as team mentors find it to be a rewarding experience. It is a great way to not only connect with the students for the competition, but it also opens the door to establishing a relationship with faculty and assisting in classrooms during the year as opportunities arise. We also are looking for members interested in serving as judges. If you are interested, please let me, Kelly or Bennett Judson know.
