ProCertification Series™

Established to aid roofing professionals in career development, the ProCertification Series™ is a national certification initiative that offers students the opportunity to seek “microcredentials” in several specialized areas of roofing. Launched in December 2018, several professional certification programs are available for workers that meet certain requirements. These courses are designed to assist professionals with the advancement of their careers by offering courses that can help prepare them to become certified in various disciplines of roofing.

National Women In Roofing

As we stated previously, roofing companies need to recruit skilled workers from every demographic, including women. The Roofing Alliance has contributed to funding efforts including start-up costs for the National Women in Roofing (NWIR) organization. As it states on the NWIR website, NWIR “is a volunteer-based organization that supports and advances the careers of women roofing professionals.” The Roofing Alliance is committed to the development of this organization including providing educational programs and hosting recruitment events, among other ongoing initiatives designed to provide more career opportunities for women in roofing.

The Roofing Alliance is committed to advancing the roofing industry. This includes supporting education and training programs, embracing innovation and technology, and giving back to the community that has done so much for each member.
