The Clemson University team is working with the Roofing Alliance Curriculum Development Task Force to provide an exciting new way for construction management students to learn about roofing and potential careers in the roofing industry. As part of this endeavor, Principles of Roofing from Design to Installation and Beyond, a three-credit hour college course specific to the roofing industry, is being developed and will be implemented at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Clemson University and potentially other universities. An email was sent out requesting Roofing Alliance and NRCA members—as experts in the roofing industry—to complete a brief, five-minute survey to help develop this course and identify volunteers to actively participate in the class offering.
If you didn’t receive the email or haven’t completed the survey, we would encourage you to click on the link and complete it now. We look forward to your participation and receiving your responses for this important endeavor. This is a tremendous opportunity to educate college students about roofing and increase the number of young professionals entering the roofing industry. Please complete and return the survey as soon as possible but no later than Aug. 23. If you have any questions or concerns about the email, reach out to Cayla Anderson with Clemson University at firstname.lastname@example.org.
